Stylish free standing lamp light?

My high halogen lamp just died and I have to replace it. I am 30 years old, so I think, time to get a Lamp receive great person – that is, halogens, and $ 15 lamps at low prices that fry bugs and the smell of ash. I need something really brilliant – I read a lot and have a dark apartment. I need a lamp-post – can something stand alone.
