My 1994 Honda Accord oil light blinks only when I'm running hard. I added a pint of oil is not it?

My friend just did a valve cover gasket job on the car. Before work, no light came. The oil pressure seems ok. You do not know what could be the cause. Ideas? The engine runs and sounds great.
