Do the math. You drive through Starbucks and easilly spend $4.50 on a cup of coffee (no matter what they call it… it’s still a cup of coffee). I’m not sure on the exact number of ounces in each cup, but let’s be generous and say it’s about 10oz.

A pound of Jamaice Blue Mountain Coffee  cost about $36. This will yeild about 9 pots of coffee. There’s 50oz in each pot, so that’s 5 Starbucks size coffees in each pot. 9 pots X 5 cups equals 45 “Starbucks” sized cups in a pound.

So, it cost you $36 for a pound (approx) and you get 45 big cups at a cost of 80¢ per cup! Tell me again you cannot afford to drink gourmet coffee!
