How do I dislodge my magic bullet from the blender?

I got the new magic bullet with the blender and decided to use it. While making a smoothie I realize that it’s leaking and that the blender and screwed on blade (black piece) are stuck inside the actual magic bullet base. The only way to stop the blending is to pull out the plug, but now the blender is stuck inside the base and I can’t get it out!
HOW DO I DISLODGE IT?! PLEASE HELP ASAP.

Return it to the store? maybe they’ll be nice and let you exchange it? idk, maybe try using pliers to pull the blade out or try to bend it; it could be bent or something… I’ve never looked at a Magic Bullet so I’m not sure of the construction. Good luck!
