Can I restore the color of a burnt pot hard anodized? Can I even use it?

Inadvertently, I left a hard-anodized saucepan on the stove for 6 hours, causing it to burn a little. Because it was empty and there had no food / liquid to really "burn", instead get a charred surface, the cooking area discolored significantly the original gray a whitish hue. The bit "bright" are still there – I think that non-stick components are still good? But more specifically, I wonder if there is anything I can do to restore the color and / or if the pot is still always safe to use (is it carcinogenic?)

This might work ………. liquid dye placed inside the water and bleach, then mix and pour and could restore color
