Is there any benefits to using sea salt?

opposed to regular iodized salt.I have just started using sea salt in a grinder that also has pepper corns in it,, but what are the benefits of sea salt?

Iodized salt has an iodine taste. The reason it was put in salt was to prevent goiter ( rare these days) but all brands have iodized and plain. I always go for the plain.
Now sea salt is a different story Fleur de Sel ( gray sea salt) is probably the best salt you can buy and about 50 times the price of regular salt.
It’s much better for you than regular salt.
Similar to raw sugar is better for you then processed sugar( somewhat).
PLUS
It tastes so much better.
Everyone should try Fleur De Sel( the “Beluga Caviar” of salts) at least once in their lifetime.
