All series I watch are mirror finish stainless steel with a core aluminum in the base even heat distribution. All handles are heat resistant. The KithchenAid are coated with rubber. Cuisinart – $ 110 KitchenAid – rubber handles time limit oven to 400 degrees. – $ 120 Emerilware (made by All-Clad) – covers glass. Go with the Cuisinart. Basic Copper character (got one) looks crappy after use, it should be polite (Do not have time) kitchen helpers with handles rubber you have to look in the oven (Do not have time either). Buy a heavy set that does not cost the world like Cuisinart. Happy Cooking!
