Please … help me. It's all about turtles.?

My bf friend found a baby box turtle in the parking lot at work and introduced inside the gel fearing death. We live in Kentucky and it snowed yesterday. I work in the office of the USDA and a man Fish and Wildlife saw him today and said it is very rare to see baby turtles this time of year. I Now, because nobody knows what to do with him. I do not want to keep as pets but I like to keep it until spring and release him. I wanted to know what to do with him now. I have him in a shoebox-size Tupperware container with rocks, grass, mulch and grass clippings, I water in two shallow containers, and cut lettuce and grapes. He hasn't eaten anything. Please. everything will be useful.

I never had a box turtle, but I have red-eared turtles Try to buy goldfish or guppies of animal i also feed shrimp, but sound in a container. Be sure to keep the water warm and have room for him to swim. Good luck with the little guys or big!
