I would just buy a simple canner for my flat top stove. Do not need a pressure cooker or something like that with. Simpler the better. Any suggestions.

I try to discover what would happen if the vent and all valves have been sealed. Surely the average steel or aluminum vessel could tolerate higher than 15 psi. but how much more I wonder.

Hi, I wonder if it's possible to make roast beef (prime rib, roast NOT) in the pressure cooker. If I wanted medium rare, how long should I cook for (and at high or low pressure)? I have a Fagor Duo 8L pressure cooker. Other advice would be helpful. I need instructions on how to do that because I did not use a pressure cooker or roast cooked beef before.
