Should this dessert sauce recipe taste good?

I winged it, in a saucepan, I put 1/3 cup of Nutella Ferrera 1/3 Knotts Seedless Red Raspberry jam. And a half cup of heavy cream, whisked and then ran throught the food processor. Ran through a fine sieve. Put in a squeeze bottle. I don’t want to try it til tomorrow because I am on a stringent diet, and tomorrow is the only day I will cheat. Tell me what you think.

A half cup just ran throught the food processor? Fureal? Sometimes you must think for yourself!

food processor pie crust recipes

Would this cheesecake recipe work? HELP!?

I came up with a cheescake recipe, and I’m wondering if it would a) turn out, and b) taste good. Can you give me your opinion? Are there any changes I need to make?

1) 8 oz Ricotta cheese
2) 8 oz. Fat free cream cheese
3) 1/2 cup Cottage cheese (blended in food processor to reduce lumps)
4) 1/2 cup Sour cream
5) 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
6) 1 Egg + 4 Egg whites
7) 1/2 cup sugar
CRUST: 2 tablespoons butter + 3/4 cup grahm cracker crumbs

1. Preheat to 350 and mix butter and crumbs. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate. Bake 10-15 minutes until crust is cooked.
2. Beat cream cheese on medium speed until fluffy. Add cottage cheese, sour cream and blend. Add in egg, egg whites, sugar, and vanilla. Blend some more, until incorporated.
3. Pour in pie plate and bake for 50 minutes. Cool it for an hour, and chill for 4 hours.

I would try it out first myself and then see how it comes out. With the ingredients you listed, I wouldn’t see a problem. Its trial and error really.

food processor pie crust butter

Can I make pumpkin pie crust without using a food processor?

Last time I used my $45 blender and ended up making a massive mess. The butter ended up caking to the bottom and freezing the thing up… very frustrating!

Now I’m making it again and I used the whisk on my kitchenaid stand mixer (even though I know I’m not supposed to but what was I to do?) and my “dough” was really crumbly and didn’t stick together very well. I stuck it in the fridge to cool anyways, and so here I wait.

Have I set myself up for UN-success?

I don’t use an electric tool for making pie crust. I just cut the butter into the flour mix using a fork.
