How can I steam the rice over the stove?

I bought a boiler from 3 today. He has a pot background, a pot that is in it and a pot to steam on top with a lid. This is not one of those steamers automatic, but it sits on the stove. I steamed asparagus and it was delicious! Now I want steamed white rice and ask how long I should steam for?

Put in pan with twice as much water as there is rice. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat as low as it goes. DO NOT RAISE the lid! Cook rice for 20 minutes, then leave – sit for about another 5.

I recently bought this at a antique mall and the only thing missing from it was the wire that plugs into the wall for keep your tea / coffee warmer. I try to look online and in the ancient places here and there.

Check with a repair appliances or parts of their output. They should have an electric cord according to your teapot. You do not really want much original because they are generally made earlier electrical code which is considered standard today. Another would be safer to use as opposed to old. All the best .. Oh, be sure to take with you if / when you go so they can make the right replacement.

The United States is probably the greatest melting pot on the globe. I work at a military base and see many mixed children. Im 32 now and when I was young it was taboo to have children interacial relationships or for that matter. Times have changed and people have mixed children one hundred fold now. I doubt it. It may release racism whole thing, but physically and mentally, it will not create a lot of changes to the human race as a whole. Genetic mixing is positive in any situation where the gene pool is incredibly small and the population is no bottleneck, but it should not necessarily be a racial thing. Mixed Children appear to be normal human beings, and despite the fact that some people discriminate and hate, there are no disadvantages real benefits or racial mix. Has anyone seen or purchased recently, or know where to buy, a * * 1 quart round clear glass covered casserole? Search the Web, it is easy to find * * 2 quarts varieties but not 1-Quart. We are trying to replace a broken. I was thinking I could boil water and hold the beans in a colander over the pot? anyone know how I should do? Should I thaw the beans before I do that and I do not want boiled soybeans.

Place a colander in the bottom of a deep saucepan, add water so it is just below the bottom strainer, place the soy, etc., in the colander and place on stove and bring to boil. This will keep the soybeans above the boiling point water and steam. so also a little less professional, wrap your soy beans in paper towels, running under the sink until that completely wet, place on plate and microwave, it will also steam them in a way.
