Is pot needed to make popcorn?

I would ask if it is necessary to use a saucepan to make / cook popcorn? Could I use other stoves instead? and the pots should I use? Thank you! If pan is not necessary could I use a deep pot to make popcorn instead? Thank you!

I have not fixed the popcorn on the stove top in years, but when I did, we attach a large (5 or 6 quarts) bottom aluminum pressure cooker with a loose fitting lid. The pot is heavy enough and worked well. Add a little oil and popcorn and stir. Today I fixed the little bags of "microwave" popcorn. It is very cheap (about $ 0.20 U.S. per person sitting in the bag) and fast and easy to prepare.

What is the best way to clean stainless steel pans?

I just bought T-Fal Elegance 10-Piece Cookware (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5751037 ) And after the cooking time on them first, the background is stained … Dishwashing detergent is not clean, and I do not use a pad brilo, because it would damage the finish. Suggestions?

You can use a Brillo or SOS pad on them. I had my stainless steel pans for more 30 years and I use an SOS pad on followed by soap and water. You can also use Bar Keepers Friend and a green scrubber. It's like a comet or Ajax, but sweeter for stainless steel. Furthermore, after water boiling for pasta use vinegar for the white water points and rinse with warm water and dry. They will look shiny and new if you stay with them.
